Raversijde 1975-1990
In 1968 the airport activities were transferred to the new airport building.
In those buildings the airport grew to an international airport of Belgium.
The supersonic airplane 'Concorde' made a few visits to the airport.
As the result of the bigger airplanes the environment inconvenience rose for the people living nearby.
This inconvenience however is not only the problem of Ostend but applicable to all the cities nearby an airport.
